Dendrobium

This genus is one of the largest within the world of orchids. They have at least 1100 varieties. The most well known are the standard, mini and Nobile types. They manly grow in the warm areas of Asia. We are especially interested in plants that flower in autumn.
This is because they are originally from the warm areas in Asia. Most of the Dendrobium plants that are offered have white/purple/yellow/green colours. They can also have two colours. This plant is ideal for the customer because it is available in different sizes like mini, medium and large. Also the flowers will maintain a couple of weeks/months and the plant can adjust perfect with other plants in the living room!

Description Nobile:
This variety is different from the ones that we have described above and is originally from India and the mountains of the Himalaya. Japan started in the sixties by trying to sell new variaties on the world market. Because of the multiplying and the improved knowledge of the cultures they have booked beautiful results. The Dendrobium Nobile varieties are available in many different sizes and colours. It varies from white/dark purple and other different nuances. You can say that the lib (labellum) of this plant is more sparkling than the rest of the flower.
